Back in the mid-late 90’s, when I first arrived in Florida, Rob Thomas was one of the first persons to make me feel at home. He had a radio program called “90 in the Shade, and I was a frequent guest, reading something I’d written or singing my songs. It was kind of a thing to always have something new for him. Not easy, because sometimes he’d call me on short notice. One time, he called like that, right as the Winter holidays were on us. I quickly wrote up a tune and played it that afternoon on his program. That’s the only time the tune has ever been performed. But I’ve got the recording, and I pull it out every year at this time, because it’s fun to share it. Here it is, and there you go!
