Isaac Rosenberg–Spring

Poet and painter, Isaac Rosenberg is best known for the poems he penned in the trenches during the first world war. He died on April 18th,1918 at the age of 27, killed by a German raiding party during the battle of Arras. His body was never recovered, but his friends arranged to have his collected poems published in 1922.
