Doc Pomus–Give it up

In Jewish Folklore, parents do not invent a name for, or give one to, their children. The name was there all along, and the parents ought to do their best to find it. Sometimes things get in the way despite the best intentions, and we have to find our name for ourselves.

Jerome Solon Felder, inspired by Big Joe Turner, found his name. And when he did, he made great things.
